Programme

Roy Goldring:  the man, his dances and the music

Muriel Johnstone, herself a respected SCD teacher and musician, will share with us her knowledge of Roy Goldring, teacher and deviser of almost 250 dances, about his dances including the care he took with the music for them.

10.30 - 11.00  Registration & Coffee

11.00 - 13.00  Workshop

13.00 - 14.00  Lunch (bring your own)

14.00 - 16.00 Workshop 

16.00 – 16.15 Tea & cake

16.15 – 16.45 General Discussion

Refreshments

Please bring a picnic lunch.   Tea, coffee, squash will be provided.

Volunteers to help serve tea/coffee welcome. Home-made cake donations highly acceptable!

Car:  very easy access from M25 J20.  Large (free) car park adjacent to the hall.

The village library (well signed) is opposite the hall.  Turn into the car park between the library and the hall from The Nap (brown sign directing to The Bowls Club).

 

Rail:  Nearest station is Kings Langley (I mile) which has direct trains from Euston and Milton Keynes.
